He should call the elders of the church, and they should pray over him after anointing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will support you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
We need to keep many people in our prayers. Jentry Roberts broke his leg and required season ending surgery. Several former players have been deployed and cannot participate this season. Larry Letellier, Dustin Jones, Nathan Riley, Xavier Smith, Tayshawn White, and Kris Bankston have all been deployed. We need to also remember to pray for players of all the other teams as well.

The West Texas Scorpions take a huge step in getting closer to that Championship by merging with the Abilene Gladiators. The Gladiators are a storied program with lots of tradition. They have established themselves as a TUFL powerhouse and threat every year. This move will help both teams achieve their goals of championship and bring a town together to present a better product for the town of Abilene.
The Scorpion's are now 12-1 after week 1 of the CRAF postseason playoffs and are ranked #19 in nation by SemiProBCS and are ranked #2 in the league. We are also ranked #2 in AAA football by lone star minor league football. Keep looking back for updates on new sponsors and upcoming fundraisers. Great things are in the making for this organization. ATTENTION ALL CURRENT SCORPION PLAYERS:
Pract in san angelo at MLK at 7pm. Also pract at wylie JH at 5pm. Get to which ever practice you can. We need great attendance to learn formations, alignment, and responsibilities. We have great talent and depth, we need to all be at practice to work on chemistry and timing. We also need to correct mistakes and miscues. Be at practice to prepare for the next game vs Mathis Lions on May 19th at Curley Hayes at 5pm. This will be a huge game, with home field on the line, division championship on the line, and this game will be a chartiy game for the Boys and Girls Club and Military appreciation. Remember if you FAIL to PREPARE then you PREPARE to FAIL! Start working on getting sponsors, we need to be able to fund the season as well whether it be travel or for home stadium. (If you get a sponsor for $200 or more David will waive your team fee!)
